Flex your STEM muscles this summer by designing and building LEGO Chain Reaction machines, which combine engineering, physics, creativity, and teamwork! Otherwise known as Rube Goldbergs, chain reaction machines use a complex system of interactive components to perform a relatively simple task. Students in this camp will work in teams to build ten moving machines that PIVOT, ROLL, LIFT, AND DROP! Each machine is amazing on its own, but students will really love using their creativity to combine the machines together to make an elaborate interconnected machine. Led by math and science teacher Nikki Phillips.
