At Absolute Value, Heather is the primary instructor for English and literature classes, including SAT prep. She is also the content creator for all specialty enrichment classes, like Travel Through the Middles Ages; the History of Board Games; Famous Houses and the Stories They Tell; and more.

Tom is a graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School and attended both Carnegie Mellon University and Duquesne on his way to becoming a professional musician and educator. Tom served as the Band Director at Keystone Oaks High School and was also the Associate Director of Percussion at Mt. Lebanon High School for two decades. He is a much-sought-after private percussion teacher and musician, and he teaches many of the enrichment classes at Absolute Value.
