In this class, you’ll discover Taylor’s secrets behind crafting catchy, memorable songs and learn how to bring your Taylor-inspired ideas to life using GarageBand and expert lyric writing techniques. We’ll break down each Era and dive into how she created each album’s signature sound. Throughout this dynamic course, you’ll:

• Master Songwriting Essentials: Explore the building blocks of Taylor’s songs, including hooks, verses, choruses, and bridges. Learn how to create compelling lyrics and melodies that resonate with listeners.
• Get Hands-On with GarageBand: Navigate GarageBand’s powerful features to record, mix, and produce your music. From arranging tracks to adding cool effects, you’ll develop practical skills that top artists use in their own music.
• Collaborate and Create: Work on your own original songs while collaborating with fellow students. Share ideas, give and receive feedback, and enhance your creative process.
• Record Your Hit Song: At the end of the course, you’ll record your very own hit song. You’ll have the opportunity to showcase your talent for family and friends, and leave with a professional-quality track that you can be proud of.
