Writing and Composition with Sean Elliot Martin, Ph.D (8 weeks)

In this 8-week private class, students will work with a university professor to achieve the following outcomes:
  1. Develop an effective writing process that includes flexible strategies for generating, revising, editing, and proof-reading
  2. Incorporate textual evidence through quotation, summary, and paraphrase into their essays and appropriately cite their sources
  3. Develop knowledge of genre conventions ranging from structure and paragraphing to tone and style
  4. Control such surface features as syntax, grammar, punctuation, and spelling
