CALL FOR UPCOMING DATES AND TIMES
In this 6-week course, students will be taught the fundamentals of using computer software to develop vector based imagery, typography, and designs. The course will begin with an introduction to using the software Adobe Illustrator, an industry standard tool for developing vector based imagery, digital graphics and layouts, as well as print graphics and layouts. As the course progresses, fundamental tools for design and illustration will be introduced with increasing complexity.
Each lesson will introduce a guided tutorial on using the software. Following each key segment of the lecture the class will be asked to follow a short exercise independently to further explore the content of the lesson. The exercise will be guided with one on one instruction highlighting what each student is doing well and which areas could use improvement.
