$245.00

Architecture and engineering! We are so excited to offer this brand-new camp led by architect and CMU grad Michael Warren! This amazing camp immerses students in the history of architecture, beginning with Egyptian, Aztec, Greek, and Roman styles, and continuing through modern architectural movements.

Capstone project: Students will complete (with instruction guidance) a scaled modeling task based upon what they have learned. They will have the opportunity to pick a specific culture that interests them and replicate an architectural model of their own design or a selected existing artifact. Students will work with chipboard and glue and will present their models to family and friends at the conclusion of camp. They will be able to keep their models.

Topics discussed over the course of the week include physics, chemistry, mathematics, and language arts as they relate to architecture.
