Nicole studied at Case Western Reserve University, where she earned a Masters degree in Bioethics, a Bachelors in Biology, a Bachelors in Cognitive Science, and a minor in Italian. She is a life-long chess player, having competed in (and won!) numerous tournaments throughout high school. She still plays regularly and enjoys introducing the game to new students, as well as helping more experienced players increase their knowledge and skills.
